When you sign up to SMFNew you are put onto our free service. This entitles you to make your own forum and customize it with the current modifications and themes that we (SMFNew) have provided for you. This is a FREE service and you will NEVER be charged to run your forum. Some people prefer to have much more control over their forum, such as uploading their own themes and modifications; which you simply cannot do on the free service. This is the difference between the services.

With the Pro Hosting package, you will have full access to the back-end of your forum. You can edit all of the SMF files and upload anything that you wish to, as long as it complies with our Terms of Service. If you even know how, you can upload your own, other, non-related SMF files to create a full website. You will have access to a back-end control panel, named cPanel. This will enable you to add your own domains, view detailed visitor statistics, modify error pages, manage your database, backup your files plus data and more.

Once you have signed up, SMFNew will install SMF for you and move your topics, posts, members etc to your new forum if requested.
